Job summary

Affinity Skilled Living and Rehabilitation Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for immediate openings on all shifts. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, mobility, and basic medical tasks in a long-term care setting.

We offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a part-time schedule. Expect compensation around $22.14–$24.35 per hour, with benefits including health and dental insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.
• Prior nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to follow healthcare instructions.
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning patients
• Collect specimens
• Assist with respiratory treatments
• Assist with catheter care and other medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
• Provide support and care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

Skills

• Experience in Long Term Care setting is preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Ability to lift and move patients safely and effectively
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to understand and follow healthcare instructions
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain patient confidentiality
