Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Salida, CO, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time and PRN roles with hourly pay. Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, grooming, and other routine nursing care under licensed staff supervision.

CPR certification may be required; active state licensure is necessary. A high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and an active license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with active license.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting) as directed.
• Deliver direct patient care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
