Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care on-site in a 190-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting. The CNA will assist residents with daily activities, observe changes, and collaborate with licensed staff to ensure safety and comfort.

The position offers a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, full-time or part-time options, and daily pay. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment (<i>preferred</i>).
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

$18-$26/hour (all inclusive)

Shift Differentials

$1.50 for shifts during the week

$2 for weekend shifts
