Job summary

Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Providence, RI is hiring CNAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles. The position offers daily pay and competitive hourly wages of $19-$22, all-inclusive.

Join a 206-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility dedicated to compassionate, resident-centered care and a supportive team. As a CNA, you will assist with ADLs, observe and report changes, maintain a safe environment, and work with licensed staff to deliver dignified care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linen changes.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.


• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.


• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.


• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.


• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.


• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.


• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.


• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.


• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.


• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
