Job summary

Concordia at RP Home is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Pittsburgh. Daylight and PRN positions are available, offering flexible schedules and the chance to make a real difference in residents' lives.

As a CNA, you will provide hands-on daily care, assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene, respond to call bells, and collaborate with nurses to ensure safe, dignified resident care.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing.
• Compassionate and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New CNAs who completed approved Nurse Aide training program welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with daily activities.
• Help residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility and hygiene.
• Answer call bells and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and restorative care.
• Observe residents and communicate important changes to the nursing team.
• Document care and treatments accurately.
• Assist residents with activities and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Protect resident dignity, privacy and confidentiality.
• Work closely with nurses and fellow CNAs to provide excellent resident care.

What You'll Do as a CNA

Our CNAs are an essential part of our residents’ daily lives. You will:

• Assist with transfers, positioning, and restorative care
• Observe residents and communicate important changes to the nursing team

• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
• Work closely with nurses and fellow CNAs to provide excellent resident care

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma/GED preferred
