Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Panama City, FL is seeking a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to seniors and clients with illnesses or injuries. You will perform daily living activities and support care plans with a team of nurses and aides.

You’ll work in a 1:1 CNA-to-patient setting, enjoy flexible scheduling, and access online training and CEUs to grow your skills and balance your life while making a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• CNA license or certification with 75+ hours completed.
• CPR certification required (no online CPR).
• Valid FL driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Must be compassionate, a good communicator, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors in their homes.
• Help with daily activities: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nutrition.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to follow care plans.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medication or medical equipment.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure a patient’s care plan is followed
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Must have the following for Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants:

• CNA License or Certification (completion of 75 hrs or more)
• CPR certification (NO ONLINE accepted)
• Valid FLdriver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
