Purpose of Your Job Position

The primary purpose of your job is to provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services according to the resident's assessment and care plan, as directed by your supervisors.

Specific Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for age-appropriate care.
• Must be a supportive team member, contributing to teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with others.
• Patience, tact, cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Open to learning new methods and principles to improve nursing practices.
• Ability to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must not pose a health and safety threat to others.

Education

Minimum 10th grade education and certification as a Nursing Assistant.

Experience

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
