Oak Village Healthcare in Oaktown, IN seeks a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities, supporting personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents located in Oaktown, IN.

Shifts available: 2p-10p; Job Type: PRN; Pay: $19.00 per hour. Join our caring multidisciplinary team focused on enriching the lives of our residents every day, in a in-person long-term care setting with rotating weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years and older.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application.
• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with varying needs including therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care.
• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of the residents.
• Acts under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the inter-disciplinary team.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical staff in a supportive and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

Education

CNA Job details/Responsibilities:

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, in accordance with the established Care Plan.
• Ensures that all residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, family members, co-workers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a non-judgmental, supportive, and calm manner.
• Additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited high school or GED is preferred.
• Must be 18 years and older
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.
