Job summary

Oak Village in Oaktown, IN is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident care and comfort for nursing home residents. The role supports a compassionate multidisciplinary team and offers multiple shifts, including 2p-10p, with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and following the established Care Plan. A CNA certification, state-approved training, and documentation are required; pay is $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification; state-approved training completed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 18 years or older with documentation upon application.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills to care for residents' needs (therapeutic, neuro, dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, wound care).
• Provides nursing care per Care Plans; ensures resident safety and well-being.
• Acts under Charge Nurse direction and as a team member of the multidisciplinary staff.
• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Ensures residents are out of bed per Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, families, and staff in a supportive, non-judgmental manner.
• Performs additional duties to follow the Care Plan.
