VHS Hospice in Newport News, VA is hiring CNAs for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles. Positions offer daily pay and several Virginia locations including Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, and more.

Compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, all inclusive. We value compassion, respect, and excellence, and CNAs provide basic resident care, support daily activities, and collaborate with licensed nursing staff to ensure safety and quality of life.

Formación

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
