Job summary

The Arbor Company is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at Arbor Terrace Morris Plains to provide compassionate senior care in a supportive team environment.

Joining our Morris Plains team means competitive pay between $21.00 and $23.50 per hour, free meals on shift, PTO eligibility for full- and part-time staff, and a broad benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or home health is preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for serving older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care by assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Encourage residents to remain active, engaged, and connected through meaningful interactions and daily activities.
• Assist with repositioning, ambulation, meals, and other resident care needs while promoting dignity and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, medication aides, and fellow caregivers to deliver outstanding resident care.
• Help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment where residents can thrive.
