Job summary

Avantara Milbank is actively hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our friendly, caring and supportive team. On Demand Pay is available and the hourly pay starts at $17-$18.50, depending on experience.

To be eligible, applicants must hold a South Dakota CNA certificate; prior CNA experience is preferred. As a CNA, you’ll assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor changes in condition, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment at Avantara Milbank.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a South Dakota CNA certificate or completion from an SD-accredited CNA program.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable.
• Ability to perform daily living activities and observe patient changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
• Maintain safe environment and provide compassionate care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA training course.

Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA, you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Milbank by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
