Majestic Care Middletown is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA provides direct hands-on nursing care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring comfort, safety, and respectful care.

Responsibilities include responding to call lights, helping with ADLs, documenting observations, assisting with admissions and transfers, and following infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

Majestic Care of Middletown is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.

Position Overview

The CNA is a member of the community nursing team whose responsibility is to assist professional nursing personnel by delivering direct hands‑on nursing care to ambulatory and non‑ambulatory residents on a daily basis. The CNA is also responsible for assisting the residents to achieve the highest level of functioning while living as normal a lifestyle as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL) with residents.
• Respond to residents' call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety and privacy.
• Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair to areas of the community (dining room, lobby, and activities).
• Report any significant findings or observations to the nurse immediately.

• Respect the rights of each resident, particularly privacy and confidentiality.

• Perform blood pressure, pulse, respirations, intake/output, and weight accurately.

Qualifications

• Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of employment; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.
