Aegis Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. This full-time position offers a competitive wage of $20-24 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities include delivering personal care, monitoring vital signs, and aiding patient mobility. Candidates should have a valid CNA license, preferably with experience in home health or hospice care, and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Must have a current CNA license in Arizona.
• Home Health and/or Hospice experience is preferred.
• Ability to transfer patients with a full range of movement.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as grooming and bathing.

Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Aegis Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional home health and end-of-life care to our patients. As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist patients by providing personal care such as grooming and bathing, especially for those with limited mobility. You will support patients in eating, monitor and report vital signs and any notable patient behaviors to the medical team. Additionally, you will aid in patient mobility, including transfers between wheelchairs and beds, and routinely adjust patients' positioning in bed to prevent bedsores and enhance comfort.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of practice
• Home Health and/or Hospice experience as a CNA preferred
• Ability to utilize a full range of movement to transfer patients
• Effective verbal & written communication & time management skills
• Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation
• Proof of current auto insurance & registration
• Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
• Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
