Job summary

Excelsior Care Group at Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our full‑time team across all shifts.

As a CNA, you will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health and well‑being, document changes, and collaborate with nurses to deliver compassionate, individualized care that promotes dignity and comfort, and participate in creating care plans tailored to each resident's needs and interests.

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Facility: Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation
Location: Melbourne, FL
Shift: Full-Time – All Shifts Available
Salary: Up to $19.50 per hour (depending on experience) with shift differentials

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing Personalized Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal support while maintaining dignity and comfort.

• Promoting Comfort and Safety: Monitor physical and emotional well-being, addressing changes in condition to ensure a secure and supportive environment.

• Fostering Connections: Build meaningful relationships with residents and families, creating trust and a sense of belonging.

• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure residents’ rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and hygienic to support a healthy living environment.

• Accurate Documentation: Record and report changes in residents’ conditions, care plans, and activities to ensure seamless communication among the care team.

• Collaborating with the Team: Partner with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver individualized, holistic care.

• Enhancing Quality of Life: Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being tailored to their unique needs and interests.

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida.
