Job summary

Marlora Post Acute Rehabilitation Hospital in Long Beach, California is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the AM shift (7AM-3PM). In this role you will support patients with daily living activities and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

The successful candidate will hold a CA CNA license, CPR/First Aid is a plus, and have at least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current CA nursing assistant certification.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, in-patient rehabilitation, or in-patient behavioral health setting.

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Transfer patients to and from activities and meals according to their service plans.
• Serve meals to patients in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in patients' eating habits to the supervisor.
