Brookdale in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver personalized resident care and support daily living activities. You will assist with dining, hygiene, and health checks, coordinating with the care team to ensure comfort and safety.

The role offers on-site work with extensive benefits. Completion of State CNA/STNA and ongoing certification are required to join a caring, team-oriented environment at Brookdale.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required.
• Certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Experience with basic resident care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA works with management to provide seniors with personalized care and status updates at shift boundaries.
• Assist residents with dining, personal care, and vital sign checks per policy.
• Support activities of daily living (showers, bathroom, dressing) and document as required.
• Maintain certification through approved State CNA/STNA program.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
