Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our community in Selinsgrove. You will provide compassionate care to residents, assist with daily living activities, and support a safe, respectful environment.

As a CNA, you will perform vital sign checks, assist with dining and personal care, and document resident status at the start and end of each shift. Certification must be maintained, and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must maintain State CNA/STNA certification.
• Completion of CNA training and relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to provide personalized resident care and support daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care and monitor residents' well-being during shifts.
• Assist with dining, grooming, bathing, and daily living activities.
• Perform vital signs checks and basic clinical procedures per policy.
• Report changes to residents' condition to supervisors.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant – CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
