Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and an active CNA license. CPR certification is required or obtainable during orientation.

Qualifications

• CNA certification and licensing required.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting and personal care.
• Deliver direct care as directed following Life Care standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Maintain professional relationships with all associates and staff.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
