Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its team in Banner Elk, NC. Full-time, day and night shifts available with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, life, and 401(k). CPR required; CNA license active in the state.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily nursing care, bathing, feeding, grooming, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license required.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients per Life Care standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
• Document and communicate patient needs to interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and staff.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program


• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.


• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred


• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
