Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Alamosa, CO is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care to assigned patients under supervision. You will perform bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting, deliver direct care, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team, upholding Life Care standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA program completion, active state CNA license, CPR, and one year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
