What You'll Do

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at CarDon, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care, ensuring residents' comfort and well-being. Your responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, monitoring health, and reporting changes, all with compassion and patience.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Help with mobility and physical activities, including transfers and repositioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting significant changes.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging residents in activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment following infection control protocols.

Our ideal candidate

Minimum Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living facilities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

Effective communication, compassion, empathy, attention to detail, and time management are essential. BLS certification is a plus for emergency response.
