Avantara Huron is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate clinical team. You will help residents with daily living activities, monitor health changes, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

We welcome motivated individuals with a SD CNA certificate or completion from an accredited program; prior CNA experience is a plus, and we invest in the right candidates for growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must hold unencumbered South Dakota CNA license/certificate or completion from a SD accredit CNA training program.
• Prior CNA experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living assistance to residents.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Ensure a safe, clean and supportive care environment.
• Support ongoing education and care protocols for residents.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA training course. Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Huron by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
