Lantern Government Solutions is seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a full-time opportunity in Hopkinsville, KY with the Western State Nursing Facility. Apply your caregiving skills and knowledge to impact a vulnerable population and make a difference.

Job Summary

CNAs play a crucial role in supporting licensed nursing staff and ensuring the comfort, safety, and dignity of our residents. If you are passionate about helping others and want to work in a meaningful and structured environment, we encourage you to apply.

Your Daily Responsibilities May Include

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility.
• Support residents under the supervision and direction of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Perform routine ward and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
• Assist with documentation and communication of resident care information.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by nursing staff.
  
  

Work Schedule

Available Shifts Include:

• 6:00 pm - 7:00 am (3 days a week) plus every other weekend
• 6:15 pm - 5:15 am (4 days a week) plus every other weekend
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medicaid-approved nursing assistant program with a certificate of completion.
• Registered with the Kentucky Nurse Aide Registry as administered by the KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an in-person training course.
• Completion of an approved CNA program.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing is a plus.
• Strong observational skills and ability to respond to crisis situations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
