CNA Responsibilities:

• Attend to residents' needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record vital signs, and assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to nurse management.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of CNA experience in a Long Term Care setting is preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program.
• Current state certification as a CNA.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare is a plus.
