The residents enjoy a home-like environment with private rooms, full baths, and shared living spaces. The facility prioritizes independence and self-reliance, allowing residents to feel at home. With a staffing ratio of 10 residents to 2 Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA's), personalized care is ensured. As a CNA at Mary's Meadow, you will play a crucial role in delivering holistic and resident-centered care. Reporting to the licensed NH Administrator and working under the guidance of a licensed nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Listening to reports and obtaining assignments at the start of your shift to understand each resident's current care plans.

• Providing personalized care, including assistance with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.

• Participating in collaborative care planning meetings with the clinical support team to create resident-centered care plans.

• Observing residents closely and promptly reporting any changes or reactions to the nurse.

• Documenting care accurately in our electronic medical record system.

• Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and cleaning up afterward, ensuring the preferences of each elder are met.

• Assisting with laundry and maintaining a clean and welcoming home environment.

• Communicating effectively with co-workers to meet the needs of our elders and ensuring their safety and engagement.

• Attending team meetings and actively contributing to discussions.

• Reporting accidents and incidents, following safety protocols, and maintaining a hazard-free environment.

• Actively participating in educational programs and maintaining required certifications.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Maintain a Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) certification as required by the State of Massachusetts.

• R eceive training in safe food handling techniques, CPR, First Aid, and Dementia Care.
