Job summary

Bedford Care Centers in Mississippi seeks a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct care for long-term care residents, focusing on activities of daily living, safety and comfort. The role involves assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges, communicating with the nursing department, and responding promptly to residents' call lights.

Must hold an active Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with the Mississippi Department of Health.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current Nurse Aide Certification in good standing with MS Department of Health, Division of Licensure and Certification.

• Provides care and explanation to the Residents according to the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) Care Plan.
• Assists with new admits, transfers and discharges.
• Communicates with Nursing Department co-workers and other Departments to meet needs of Residents.
• Answers Residents’ Call Lights promptly.
• Recognizes and responds to verbal and non-verbal communication from Residents.
