Job summary

Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Harrisburg, PA is seeking dedicated CNAs for full-time and part-time roles across all shifts. You will provide basic resident care under licensed staff, assist with activities of daily living, and help create a safe, comfortable environment.

Our CNAs must hold an active CNA license in Pennsylvania and BLS/CPR; strong teamwork and compassionate communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience and commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff in a safe, compassionate manner.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment that promotes dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff and care team in delivering high-quality resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
