Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vital signs, mobility, meal service, and providing emotional support, while maintaining dignity, safety, and infection control.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active NJ CNA certification.

• Strong communication with residents and the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and proper positioning for safety and comfort.
• Take, record, and report vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff.
• Provide basic nursing care under supervision of licensed nurses.
• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Document care provided per facility policies and procedures.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols consistently.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
• Communicate effectively with nurses and the care team to support coordinated resident care.
