Job summary

Linden Place Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greensboro, NC is seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our resident-centered team. All shifts available (8-hr and 12-hr).

You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulation, and vital sign monitoring, while reporting changes to nursing staff and maintaining professional communication with residents and families. Required: NC CNA certification; CPR preferred; strong English communication; empathy and

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
• Current or active CPR certification preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record patient vital signs and assist with moving residents using proper body mechanics.
• Report changes in resident conditions to a nurse and ask clarifying questions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.

Shift Details:

All shifts available, 8 hour and 12 hour

What you will do:

• Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.

• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

What you need to have:

• Willingness to make a difference!

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.

• Current / active CPR certification, preferred.

• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
