Job summary

Regency Care of Rogue Valley in Grants Pass, OR is seeking compassionate CNAs. You will provide quality nursing care, promote resident rights and individuality, and support residents to maintain physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

Responsibilities include following individualized care plans, assisting with daily activities, preventing skin breakdown, and documenting care. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, and retirement options. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • CNA certification required in the state of employment.
  • Ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
  • Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow individualized care plans and communicate resident needs to planning staff.
  • Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, transfers and mobility.
  • Maintain skin integrity and prevent ulcers; turn immobile residents and apply moisturizers.
  • Protect residents' belongings and report missing items as needed.
  • Take vital signs, collect specimens, and transport residents with proper body mechanics.
  • Document care in accordance with department policies.
  • Follow safety and infection control procedures.
  • Communicate with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.

CNA wages start at $19.75 per hour

As a CNA, you provide quality nursing care and promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You also provide individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

  • Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
  • Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
  • Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
  • Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
  • Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
  • Document care in keeping with department policies
  • Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
  • Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Will

You Currently
  • Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
