Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Franklin, IN is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, person-centered care. Join a nonprofit employer that values residents’ choices and offers meaningful work across communities, home health, hospice, and more.

Position type includes Full Time, Part Time, and PRN with 2nd shift availability. Starting pay is $18.50/hour with $3.00 shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus supplemental pay for shift differential and daily Pay

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and preferred.
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing assistance with daily tasks (bathing, eating, ambulating, hair care).
• Provide a wide range of support services under nurse supervision.
• Help residents stay comfortable and as independent as possible.
• Maintain accurate, efficient, and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
