Job summary

Aviata at Lakeside Oaks in Dunedin, FL is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, mobility, and companionship.

FT Day (7a-3p) and PT Evening (3p-11p) shifts are available. Walk-in interviews each Wednesday 10a-3p. Benefits include 401k match, health/dental/vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, online learning access, and a $225 bi-weekly bonus where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Florida CNA license is required.
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents following laws and standards.

• Provide companionship and observe changes in condition.
• Assist in dining, including serving and cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and life care standards
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Provide companionship and conversation to residents
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean-up
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Florida CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
