Job summary

Aviata Health Group is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join Aviata at Brooksville. Located at 1445 Howell Ave, Brooksville, FL, the facility offers FT Evening and Night shifts and PT Day/Eve/Night shifts to support resident care.

The CNA will deliver direct care, assist with daily living activities, observe residents’ conditions, and provide companionship in a supportive environment. Must have a Florida CNA license and complete new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Florida CNA license required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively to perform duties.
• Ability to treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Good communication with clients in a friendly manner.
• Caregivers must complete new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct care to residents and patients in accordance with laws and standards.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (wardrobe, hygiene, mobility).
• Aid in daily tasks such as telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining, including escorting to dining room and serving.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.
