Job summary

Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Elsmere, NY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. We offer up to $22.23 per hour, 11-7am shifts, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus to qualified applicants.

You will assist residents with ADLs, meals, and daily care while adhering to infection control policies and center procedures. Prior CNA certification is required, with HS diploma or GED preferred; experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA Certification by the State is required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and coordinate care with the team.
• Assist at meals.
• Follow infection control and center policies.
• Record heights, weights, temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures (TPRs and BP) as instructed.
• Report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as practical.

Some of your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with ADLs, and work with the team to ensure appropriate resident care is provided

• Assisting at meals

• Following infection control and center policies

• Measuring and recording heights and weights temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructed

• Reports all changes in residents’ condition to supervisor as soon as practical

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Qualifications:

• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) Certification by the State Required

• High School Diploma or GED Preferred

• Experience preferred, not required
