We are hiring full-time and part-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our dynamic care team at Waterview Villa Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in East Providence!

Shift: 7a-3p including every other weekend. Weekly pay!

Primary job purpose: To provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established procedures, under the direction of licensed staff nurses.

Experience & Education:
  • Must be a registered certified nurse’s aide in accordance with state laws.
  • CPR certification preferred, but not necessary.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • General work experience in long-term care preferred, but not necessary.
  • New graduates welcome!
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
  • Participate in planning and following resident care plans.
  • Complete assignments effectively and promptly.
  • Observe and report changes in resident conditions.
  • Document accurately and completely.
  • Meet personal grooming needs for residents.
  • Answer call lights promptly and ensure they are within reach.
  • Keep care areas clean and orderly.
  • Maintain resident identification methods.
  • Demonstrate correct safety techniques per training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Specific Requirements:
  • Knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, and the public.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with staff.
  • Patience, tact, cheerfulness, and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to learn and incorporate new methods.
  • Effective communication skills for emergency situations.
