West Volusia Healthcare & Recycling? West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Deltona, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents across all shifts.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and contribute to a safe, comfortable environment. The ideal candidate holds a valid Florida CNA license, with at least two years in long-term care, and demonstrates patience, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and professionalism.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or similar setting.
• Valid Florida CNA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility support.
• Monitor resident health by tracking vitals, weight, and input/output.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly.
• Assist nurses and medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Offer companionship, emotional support, and social interaction.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Accurately document care provided and report concerns or changes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary: Up to $19.50/hr + shift differentials
