Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Utica, NY is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for the Evening shift. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and Daily Pay are offered with rate $19.38–$20.91 per hour plus an extra $1.00 evening/night shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Current CNA certification and CNA program completion.
• In good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food and fluid intake.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current CNA State Certification
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
