Job summary

Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ithaca, NY is seeking motivated Certified Nursing Assistants to join our patient‑centered team. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor resident changes, and maintain cleanliness and safety in care areas.

Qualifications

• Current New York State CNA certification.
• PCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of residents' nutritional and personal hygiene needs.
• Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition.
• Understand the psychological needs of the resident.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient areas, ensuring infection control standards.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.
• Record Activities of Daily Living.
• Assist with Nursing and other staff as needed.
• Follow all professional standards while maintaining confidentiality.
• Promote a safe work environment through injury prevention and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of resident's nutritional and personal hygiene needs
• Observe and report significant changes in a resident's condition

Requirements

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification
• PCC experience is preferred
