Job summary

Signature HealthCARE is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant in Calvert City, KY to provide direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help ensure a compassionate environment in line with the plan of care.

Join a team focused on resident-centered care, collaboration with licensed staff, and strong patient service. We offer 8-hour night shifts with weekend rotation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently with integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within scope of practice as defined by resident's plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper assistance.
• Record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and dietary intake.
• Routinely turn and position residents; support resident rights.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly; assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
