Buffalo Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking CNA Team Members to join our 200-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. You will observe residents, assist with personal care and daily living activities, and document intake while reporting changes to the supervising nurse.

We offer pay from $18.36 to $23.44 per hour with a $0.75 overnight differential, Daily Pay access, tuition reimbursement, and flexible full-/part-time schedules with opportunities for advancement within Centers Health Care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Current NY State CNA certification.
• In good standing with NY State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observing Residents.
• Reporting health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assisting with residents’ personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting intake.
• Feeding residents and providing nutritional supplements.
• Making beds and keeping spaces tidy.
• Transporting residents within the facility.
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintaining confidentiality of all residents and facility data.

Duties:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all residents & Facility data

Requirements:

• Must be able to work as a team member
• Successful completion of a CNA program
• Current NY State Certification
• In good standing with State Registry
