Job summary

Visiting Angels of Brighton is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care to clients in the Brighton area and surrounding communities. This role emphasizes dignity, safety, and personalized support, with opportunities for a flexible schedule and ongoing training.

Candidates should be at least 18, have 1 year of caregiving experience, and hold a valid driver’s license. Join a locally owned, nationally recognized in-home care team committed to quality care

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check required.
• Random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
