Job summary

Visiting Angels Brighton in Colorado is seeking compassionate Care Assistants - PCAs to provide in-home care in the local area. You will support clients with daily activities, medication reminders, mobility, meal prep, and companionship in a home setting.

We offer shifts including Full Time, Part Time, 8/10/12 hour options, PRN and Overnight roles, with benefits and ongoing education opportunities. Join a locally trusted, nationally recognized homecare team dedicated to quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check required.
• Random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
