Job summary

Visiting Angels of Brighton is seeking experienced Home Health Aides (HHA) to support clients in their homes in Brighton and surrounding areas. We provide compassionate in-home care and value reliability and dedication.

Shifts include Full Time, Part Time, 8, 10, 12 hour options, PRN and Overnight. Benefits include health, dental, vision, flexible scheduling, PPE, holiday pay, direct deposit, weekly pay, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Background check required and random drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input when able.
• Shop for clients or accompany them during shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Home Health Aide - HHA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Home Health Aide - HHA Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background check required
• Random drug testing
• All compensation is determined on experience and merit.
