Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Florida is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a close-knit team in a skilled nursing setting. The role focuses on direct resident care, daily living assistance and keeping residents safe and comfortable. Newly certified CNAs are welcome.

The position offers benefits including family health insurance, a bi-weekly bonus, and a 401(k) with match. Shift: 11pm–7am; open shifts allow flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Florida CNA license is required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively for essential duties.
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with activities of daily living including wardrobe, hygiene, and mobility.
• Aid in daily tasks such as use of telephone, laundry, transportation and mail delivery.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition and status.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist in dining including escorting residents, serving, and clean up.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned.

About this position:

The Certified Nursing Assistant delivers direct care to residents and patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and life care standards in the health and rehabilitation center (skilled nursing home). CNAs will assists our residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene and mobility, by prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.
