Job summary

Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking a Certified Nurse’s Aide to support licensed nursing staff and provide daily living assistance to residents in Bradenton, FL. Shifts are available from 3p-11p and 11p-7a, with both full-time and part-time positions advertised.

Responsibilities include assisting with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, transfers, and documentation, while maintaining safety and cleanliness. CPR/BLS certification is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved geriatric nursing assistant training program.
• Registration with State registry is required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments, tests, and specimen collection as instructed.
• Report observations and results to licensed staff and document care.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
• Respond promptly to signals and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and safe.

About The Role

The Certified Nurse’s Aide assists the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living.

• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
• Gives treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.

• Answers signal lights promptly.
• Changes bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing aide experience is preferred. Registration with State registry (required)
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
• CPR/BLS Certification
