Job summary

Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boynton Beach, Florida is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our compassionate team. This facility offers full-time and part-time shifts with a pay rate up to $17.50 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida CNA license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm to manage residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Monitor weight, vitals, and input/output to maintain stability.
• Document care provided and report changes to the nursing team.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Support residents’ emotional well-being through companionship and interaction.

Key Duties:

• Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for all activities of daily living.

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.

• Maintain patient stability by monitoring weight, vitals, and input/output.

• Communicate any observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.

• Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.

• Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable, and safe.

• Support residents’ emotional well-being by providing companionship and social interaction.

• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.

• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.

• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting preferred.

• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, with the ability to manage residents based on maturity level and factuality.
