Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to join its resident care team in Boston, MA. This on-site opportunity offers full-time, part-time, and per diem shifts across day, evening, and night schedules, with a focus on patient-centered care and meaningful resident interactions.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, maintaining clean and safe environments, and documenting care in electronic records.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing on the state nurse aide registry.
• Current BLS or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Six months or more of experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital care preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate care.

• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output accurately.
• Help residents at mealtimes and monitor nutrition and hydration.
• Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics and lift equipment.
• Observe and promptly report changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Document care in the electronic health record before the end of each shift.
• Support residents living with dementia using calm, person-centered approaches.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem schedules are available across day, evening, and night shifts. Core Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility with dignity and respect
• Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake and output accurately
• Help residents at mealtimes and monitor nutrition and hydration
• Reposition and transfer residents safely using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
• Observe and promptly report changes in condition, skin integrity, behavior, or mood to the charge nurse
• Document care in the electronic health record before the end of each shift
• Support residents living with dementia using calm, person-centered approaches
• Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and free of hazards
• Follow infection control, fall prevention, and resident rights policies
• Communicate warmly with families and visitors and escalation concerns appropriately
• Take part in shift reports, care plan huddles, and ongoing training
• Help residents take part in activities, outings, and daily routines that bring purpose and joy
• Welcome and orient new residents and support them through their first weeks

Required Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing on the state nurse aide registry
• Current BLS or CPR certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Six months or more of experience in long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital care preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Clear communication skills and a genuine commitment to compassionate care
• Ability to pass a background check and health screening
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work some weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Basic computer skills for electronic charting, or willingness to learn

Benefits & Pay

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and schedule.
