Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Belmond in Belmond, IA is seeking certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to join a friendly, caring team on the 2nd shift.

You will provide daily living assistance, monitor residents, maintain safety, and support a high standard of care. Eligible candidates hold an Iowa CNA certificate; full-time, part-time, or PRN on-call options may be available; competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate or Iowa CNA certificate on completion.
• Frontline caregiver providing activities of daily living and observing resident condition.
• Ability to ensure a safe environment and deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform activities of daily living for residents.
• Observe changes in residents' conditions and report appropriately.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, and support resident comfort.
• Deliver care in accordance with care plans and policies.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Rehabilitation Center of Belmond by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
