Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Banner Elk, NC is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team of professionals. The position includes full-time night shift 6:30pm-6:30am and dayshift 6:30am-6:30pm, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license in good standing.
• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation; must remain current.

• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
